Run tap first thing in the morning

The Ministry of Health recommends that you flush the first cup of water from your drinking tap each morning by running it for a couple of seconds. This is because traces of metal can accumulate within some plumbing fittings, overnight. While this doesn’t happen in all fittings, because of the considerable differences in water and plumbing materials through the country, this simple precaution is being recommended for all drinking water taps.
